I laghi più belli da vedere nei dintorni di Roma
Il lago si trova nel cratere del vulcano Vuslisni, inattivo dal 100 A.C. Al centro dello specchio d’acqua ci sono due piccole isole, entrambe visitabili. A sud è situata la cittadina di Montefiascone, famosa per il vino Est! Est! Est! Mentre a nord si trova il borgo di Bolsena, meta turistica per molti romani e non solo. Molto apprezzata è anche Capodimonte, sul versante sudovest del lago. Il modo migliore per raggiungere la zona è sicuramente in macchina visto che i bus pubblici, in partenza da Roma Termini, sono poco frequenti.
This crater lake is located on the site of the Vulsini volcano, dormant since about 100 BC. To the northeast is the town of Bolsena, a popular tourist resort in summer, and to the southwest is Capodimonte, another town worth visiting. The lake has two islands and provides activities for sports and nature enthusiasts all year round. Southeast of the lake is Montefisascone which is famous for its Est! Est!! Est!!! wine. Lago di Bolsena is best reached from Rome by car, as the buses from Termini are not very frequent
